Vice President of PR Collaborative, a seasoned documentary publicist who has helmed marketing campaigns for some of the decade's most influential films, collaborating with world-renowned filmmakers including Spike Lee and Werner Herzog.

Director of Programming since 2022, Wayne has been with APA Film since 2006. A lifelong film lover and linguaphile, he watches films from around the globe — working toward seeing them all without subtitles.

Peter Tzeng

Board Member since 2023, Peter works at the Motion Picture Association in Federal Government Affairs — where politics and pop culture intersect. Outside of work, he volunteers with Rural Dog Rescue and performs with the Washington Improv Theater

Melissa Bisagni

Festival Director of DC APA Film Festival, Melissa is a film curator and programmer specialising in Indigenous and Asian American film. With 15 years at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, she also advocates for education equity in DC public schools.

A Filipino-Chinese-Spanish American raised in American Samoa and Hawaiʻi, Anavic brings a background in journalism, interior design and event management to the board. A published author and award-winning editor, she is passionate about creating immersive experiences for the DMV community.
