A D.C. Asian Pacific American Film Festival Special Presentation
Twin Triumph Productions is pleased to present the D.C. Premiere Gala of “The Power of Two,” a powerful feature documentary about the intimate bond between half-Japanese twin sisters Anabel Stenzel and Isabel Stenzel Byrnes, their lifelong battle with the fatal genetic disease cystic fibrosis (CF), survival through miraculous double lung transplants, and improbable emergence as authors, athletes, and advocates for organ donation and those suffering from CF in the U.S. and Japan.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see this hopeful and heartfelt film with post-screening Q&As with director/producer Marc Smolowitz and the Stenzel twins. Gala includes live musical performances by the film’s acclaimed soundtrack musicians Sara Melson and Haroula Rose. “The Power of Two” is the directorial debut from Academy Award nominated filmmaker Smolowitz (“The Weather Underground” and “Trembling Before G-d.”)
