DC APA Film’s Point of View (P.O.V) Youth Filmmaker Program, where high school students learn about filmmaking, was a tremendous success this year thanks tremendously to Ventana Productions. They hosted the students for six consecutive Saturdays and let them use their cameras, editing, sound and lighting equipment. DC APA Film is thrilled to team up once again with Giant Robot magazine. From movie stars, musicians, and skate-boarders to toys, technology, and history, Giant Robot covers cool aspects of Asian and Asian-American pop culture.
We dig Giant Robot because they’re one of the first American publications that featured Chow Yun Fat, Jackie Chan and Jet Li years before they were mainstream in America’s movie screens.
