Decisions, decisions.

You’ve had a busy week so it’s perfectly fine to sit down all day and watch some great flicks. Kicking off the schedule are the Retrospective Shorts Program 1: From the Beginning of Time… and Program 2: …To Infinity and Beyond.

Some of the films in Program 1: From the Beginning of Time include Barrier Device featuring Sandra Oh, Perfection featuring Ming-Na and Sundance selection Sangam. Program 2: To Infinity and Beyond features Mouse, a tale about a young man who tries to avoid a conversation about pregnancy with his girlfriend by chasing a mouse around his apartment; Fumi and the Bad Luck Foot, a humorous story about a girl who tries to change her fate when mishaps constantly plague her bad luck foot; The Police Box, about flirtations in a Hong Kong cafe. Saturday’s Feature Films

If you’re looking to catch a heartwarming and hilarious film, White on Rice is for you. Jimmy loves dinosaurs and sleeps on the top bunk. Unfortunately, Jimmy is 40 and shares that bunk with Bob, his 10-year-old nephew. Freshly divorced, Jimmy lives with his sister Aiko and her family while boldly searching for a new wife. Director Dave Boyle is scheduled to attend. Preceded by the short My Four Inch Precious.

Online ticket sales for Formosa Betrayed are sold out. However, tickets may still be available for purchase in the Rush Line. $10 regular, $8 for students or seniors 65+. Cash Only. Writer/producer and principal cast member Will Tiao is scheduled to attend. Click here for the complete schedule.
