By Allison Lyzenga, My Film Habit
What a delightful way to kick off the 11th annual DC APA Film Festival! This film is just brimming with love-sick blunderers, the long-suffering women who put up with their pathetic antics, and and a bunch of cheap thugs in the sweetest, orange, polyester leisure-suits you’ve seen since junior prom. And, it’s hilarious too! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a film that’s featured such expert comedic timing. By the end of this film my cheeks hurt because I’d been grinning like a fool throughout the whole thing.
