All tickets and passes can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets at: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/producer/5884
The 2011 Festival offers discounts for advance purchases online or over the phone. We encourage all patrons to take advantage of these discounts by purchasing tickets early. Online/Phone sales for each day’s screenings will be available until approximately 3 hours before the first screening of that day. After Online/Phone sales end, tickets will still be available at the door, but Advance Purchase discounts will no longer apply.
In addition, we are offering a Festival Pass that provides access to all film screenings including Opening, Centerpiece, and Closing Nights, and all other publicized special events. The total cost is less than half of the box office price of each individual event. We also offer a 4-Ticket Flex Pass for four films for those who may not be able to see all of our screenings. This Pass is a great buy and can be used for any screening except Opening, Centerpiece, Closing Nights, or other special screenings. These passes only available online. Please see our website www.apafilm.org/2011/ for details.
Tickets for our events can be purchased at the door at all venues with CASH ONLY. We DO NOT accept checks. Credit card payments will be accepted online for all events (Visa, MasterCard) or at the door for events at Landmark’s E Street Cinema, only.
All sales are final. There are no refunds. If you purchase tickets in advance, please be sure to pick them up at WILL CALL at least 10 minutes before the screening or they may be released to the Rush Line if the screening is sold out.
The festival offers discounts for advance purchase tickets for all screenings. In addition, there are box office discounts available for Students, Military, and Seniors aged 65 or older. Please bring a valid current Student or Military ID to receive the discount. Seniors, please bring proof of age such as a driver’s license. However, there are no discounts at the door for Opening, Centerpiece, or Closing Nights; only advance purchase tickets discounts are available for these events.
There is also a discount for Group Purchases for five or more tickets, which is only available online or via phone. Only the individual who purchased the tickets may pick them up at WILL CALL, unless each individual’s name is identified when the ordering.
The 2011 Festival offers these passes for our patrons:
BBecause tickets for many screenings will sell quickly, patrons are advised to purchase tickets as early as possible – and get a great discount. The best way to ensure your seat is to purchase your tickets in advance via Brown Paper Tickets which can be accessed via our website www.apafilm.org/2011/. Online ticket sales for all programs will end approximately 3 hours before the first screening of that day. There is a non-refundable fee for each ticket; see Brown Paper Tickets for details on fees. Check the Festival Schedule at www.apafilm.org/2011/ for a list of programs and their advance sale prices.
Tickets for any of our paid screenings can be purchased over the phone through Brown Paper Tickets. Simply call 1-800-838-3006. When you speak to the ticket representative, tell them the name of the film program or mention “DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival” to choose from a number of programs. There is a non-refundable fee of $0.99 for ticket sales of $9.99 or less and $1.99 for ticket sales of $10.00 or more that is charged to you by our ticket vendor.
For all of our paid programs, patrons may purchase tickets at the theater before the screening with CASH ONLY. Please note that the ticket prices for door sales will be higher than advance foreclosure defense hollywood tickets. We suggest that you arrive early to purchase tickets at the door.
Sold Out? Join the rush line! Even for “sold out” films, we can often accommodate most patrons just before show time. Rush tickets are sold beginning ten minutes before show time in the theater lobby. Be aware that a line sometimes forms earlier than this.
In addition to our paid programs, we offer programs that are entirely FREE to the public at the Smithsonian Freer and Sackler Galleries. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Meyer Auditorium (Freer) capacity is 300 seats and pre-registration is not required, however, you will need to obtain a ticket in order to enter the auditorium. Auditorium doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the event.
