We’re giving away free stuff on Tuesday. Hyphen magazine’s stuff. Free magazines, a free one-year subscription, a t-shirt and pins. We’ll raffle them off after the screenings.
Hyphen is a magazine about Asian America for the culturally and politically savvy who want substantive and well-researched articles about complicated issues that affect Asian Americans.
We’re showing a bunch of really cool shorts Tuesday night:
Shorts Program 1: Laboring, starts at 6:30 p.m. at the U.S. Navy Memorial Theatre, 701 Pennsylvania Ave NW.
Shorts Program 2: You Thought You Had It Tough, begins at 8:30 p.m.
For all you budding filmmakers, short films is the way to go. Schmooze with the filmmakers after the screening and find out how they got their start. Free stuff, great short flicks and networking opportunities. It’ll be a fun night!
