FUNDRAISER CONCERT ANNOUNCED TO BENEFIT THE 2003 DC ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL

Washington, D.C -- Asian Pacific American Film (APA Film), a DC-based nonprofit that promotes and supports Asian American films and media, will sponsor a fundraiser on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 to benefit the 2003 DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival.

The event will begin at 9:00 pm and will feature performances from Astropop 3 and Temporary Basement. The hosting venue is Velvet Lounge, 915 U Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20001. This is a 21 and up event. ID required for admittance.

Donations of $5 will be collected at the door and will go to sponsoring the program development and costs of the DC APA Film Festival, held in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institution in October 2003.
