FUNDRAISER CONCERT TO BENEFIT THE 2002 DC ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL

Washington, D.C. - APA Film, a local Asian Pacific American (APA) nonprofit arts organization, will sponsor a fundraiser on Monday, September 23, 2002 to benefit the 2002 DC APA Film Festival (October 10-19).

The event will begin at 9pm and feature performances from local musicians Girl @ th Bus Stop, Inqilab, Tina Pamintuan, and The Speaks. The hosting venue is Velvet Lounge, 915 U Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20001.

This is a 21 and up show. ID required.

Donations of $5 will be collected at the door. 100% of donations will sponsor the program development and costs of showcasing independent Asian American artists and musicians in the Washington, D.C. metro area, the most recent event being the 2002 DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival in mid-October.
