Director Nikhil Kamkolkar has created a quirky romantic comedy that pokes fun at the conventions of Hollywood and Bollywood romantic comedies. Nick is a young writer who falls in love with Sapna, a beautiful, sarcastic woman visiting from India. She challenges his idealistic view that all romance ends in happy endings with her frank, cynical opinions on love. As she points him in the direction of the great tragic epics of the Bollywood film industry, he works on polishing his own Hollywood script. Of course, the opposing perspectives of these two young individuals can only push them closer together…Featuring ensemble performances that give this tongue-in-cheek comedy about love, sex and relationships in the 21st Century an energetic, youthful pulse. |
