Heavy on humor and sass, this selection of short films traces the aspirations
of everyday people—and the shadows of the expectations they place on themselves
and the assumptions that society has for them. As the characters in these
films find themselves faced with feats of strength in intellect, confidence,
and self-respect, they rise to the challenge, proving that in life, love,
or basketball, it’s not whether you win or lose, but how you play the
game.
